We at Puasoft, creator of Phone Retro, add the minimum permissions needed for the Midifun to function. Phone Retro utilizes the camera hardware of the Android device only when the user clicks the camera option.

Phone Retro - Camera Option

All pictures taken by the camera are accessible from a folder on file system of the Android device.
A recording can be deleted by the user any time on the Android device's Gallery app.
