Baguio Catholic Cathedral

This photo was taken during my first visit at Baguio Catholic Cathedral. The weather was quite cooperative that time creating a great background for this picture.

Dupax del Sur, Nueva Viscaya

This is a photo taken at Dupax del Sur, Nueva Viscaya while I was riding a bus going home from Manila to Isabela.

The bus need no air conditioners as we can just open the windows and breathe the cool, fresh air as we went past along greeneries and trees.

The everyday stand-up meeting, as part of our Agile Methodology on a software project, keeps us updated of the progress of the tasks assigned to each member of the team.

Orange Frisbee

This is the Frisbee we used when playing early morning at the Legaspi Active Park, Legaspi Village, Makati City. Too bad we cannot play there anymore as the guard warned us not to play so as not to those who jog at the park.

Insect at Los Baños

Saw this mosquito-sized insect while attending to a christening of a friend's daughter at Senior's Social Garden, University of the Philippines Los Baños. I am one of the lucky godparents to the baby.

Diluted Coke

Now this is what happens when cubes of ice are left in a glass of Coke. My office mate forgot to drink it so I borrowed it before throwing it. I just love the caramel-colored gradient done by melted ice cubes to the most popular product of the Coca-cola Company.

Santa Claus in UPLB

Come and see this Santa Claus and his nine-reindeer sleigh at the University of the Philippines Los Baños this Christmas season.I never knew he has nine until I saw this Christmas decoration at the campus.

Swelling Strawberry of La Trinidad, Benguet

This is another photo I took at the strawberry farm at La Trinidad, Benguet when we planned to have a Baguio vacation last November. The strawberry is like swelling with it's natural red color. We went there and expected to pick the strawberries we will be buying but we were disappointed. The farmers said January or February is the best time to do it. We did not see any strawberry bush yet when we visited the place.

I believe the strawberry farm is still one of the places to visit anytime of the year when you plan a vacation at the City of Pines.

Wall Lamp at BF Homes Subdivision

This is a wall lamp at my office mate's house in BF Homes, Parañaque. It was our first time in her place and we just keep on ignoring the lamp until she put the light on as the night comes. The lamp is made of clay jar cut into two and anyone can try it too. I haven't asked where's the other half of it yet.

Lit Candle at My Apartment

With nothing to do and I was too early to go to my office, I just lit up a candle and took a picture of it inside the room at my apartment. I obviously put the light out.

The Manor Hotel of Baguio City

This is a photo of The Manor hotel at Camp John Hay in Baguio City. Unintentionally, we get there while strolling with my friends after eating at House of Waffles. We are not supposed to be there since only stay-ins are the only who should have access on it. But we were able to enter through a small way from a parking lot at the back of the hotel. :)

Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad, Benguet

A farmer tends the strawberry plants in La Trinidad, Benguet last November. Visiting the strawberry farm was just one of the places we went to when I visited Baguio with friends.

Church Bell Tower of Ilagan

I took this picture of the Ilagan church bell tower during the holy week. The structure on the right was not even there, I think, the last time I visited this structure.

Wild Flowers at Los Baños

Just found this inch-long flowers in the backyard of Navigators Center (Batung Buhay). I'm curious and took a picture of it. Now I know why it built curiosity in me the first time I saw it. This is just one of the many things whose beauty are more appreciated when seen at a very close range. Thanks to macro photography.

Gourd Plant

The strong typhoon Juan, internationally named Megi, can uproot house roofs but not this plant. I found this foliage somewhere on a hill near my house in the province a few days after the typhoon Juan. Juan damaged thousands of structures and left about a thousand houses roofless in Isabela last October 2010.

Barbed Wire

This is just one barbed wire along the fence of a previously Mobiline lot near my house in Isabela.

Flying Fiesta of Enchanted Kingdom

This park ride looks like a carousel at fist glance but it is not. It is the Flying Fiesta park ride at Enchanted Kingdom at Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Tip: This is a good place to ride and dry your clothes when you get wet at Rio Grande Rapids.

Creek

This is a photo where a creek meets the river in Ilagan, Isabela. The sand at the right was previously a good field usually used to cultivate corn. Every time the river rises during flooding, a big chunk of the field is eroded to the river. Too bad my grandmother's field on it was totally washed away already. Sand and running water from the river took its place already.

Dusk or Dawn

This is a photo taken during sunrise at Sun Juan, Batangas using my 1.3 MP camera phone.

I was having a vacation with my team mates back then. It's fun setting my alarm for the first time just to try taking pictures at dawn. My boss is the one seen on the picture.
